Does anyone know anything about these boats? I am considering buying one, a 1985 example with new sails for £5k. If anyone can let me know if this is good value or not I'd appreciate it.

They are pretty wet in a breeze but very fast for their size especially off the wind. We saw 13.5 knots with the kite up but needed all four blokes (big fellas over 13 stone) on the stern quarter to keep the nose up. We also clocked 11 knots on a white sail reach from Arran to Troon. In light to moderate airs she was very sensitive to sail trim and a decent headsail (number 1 and number 2 - you get to change down fairly early) is well worth the investment. Went well under engine ( I think we had about a 3.5 horse outboard). Steve Goachers site has tuning tips for the boat if you are interested. I only ever raced the boat so can't comment on accomodation.
