Here in CYPRUS we are blanketed in what looks like FOG but in fact is DUST-not nice. Whats it like where you are? is it the same in CRETE?

It is called in Greek a Sconi (spelling) it is a wind normaly with South in it from the sahara, it brings cloud and red dust rain, it gets everywhere, normaly in May, but can (and does) happen anytime. The canaries call it the Sciroco. I can clean the car and patio, then the Sko ni arrives and everything is covered in ****, it does warm the air up though!

Peter, it's pouring with rain on a southerly wind. You know what that means........
I am curious, what does that mean?
