How to transfer Navionics phone app to Raymarine A75?

Hi, I currently have a UK subscription to the Navionics App. Does that mean I can download the same charts to my Raymarine A75 chartplotter? I took out the SD card, and shoved it in my laptop, but not getting anywhere... any tips on how to do this? Very frustrating...
Thanks!

I suspect that as this has been the subject of Mitch discussion and nobody has claimed the beer tokens yet is not a viable option even to the extent of deliberate choice of Navionics

I tend to use paper charts and the chartplotter as confirmation of position. So... perhaps not necessary to pay the full whack.

If I did buy the updateable ones, is that dependent on an extra subscription on top of the initial £200-£300 card?

Thanks!

Looking at that you can choose between Navionics+ and Platinum+

Cheapest I can see is Navionics+ Large Charts (£220)

(Only cards I can see for £54 are expired, non-updateable ones on eBay)
Or 4D Max / 4D Max+ from C-Map which is about £205 for the "Wide" series: C-Map 4D MAX Wide - UK, Ireland and the Channel | Force 4 Chandlery

Looks like the larger "Continental" coverage is little more expensive, but I can't find any UK suppliers: 4D MAX Continental Central and Northern Europe EN050 from 219,95 € | SVB

I very slightly prefer C-Map's presentation when I compared overlapping areas on my B&G Vulcan - previous thread with pics.

I would phone MarineChandlery.com - have found them very helpful in the past.

No you cannot transfer from App to Plotter ... if you could - imagine the revenue they would lose !!

It used to be possible (please don't ask me how ... ) to separate Navionics charting on old Android version (again I will not say which one) - but that was quickly snuffed out and now you will have extreme difficulty accessing charts alone on your Android / IOS ....

It has crossed my mind whether such as Android version could be similar to Miricast to a system for then transfer to a plotter ... but what a palaver !!

Thanks for all this. Given that I use paper charts and the Raymarine is an added extra, and also given that I have the up to date App on my phone... wouldn't it make more sense for me to buy the £54 UK charts (2023) on Ebay?
I don't see what the value is in paying £250 or whatever, to have endless tiny updates for areas I'm unlikely to visit... presumably the £54 chart set won't suddenly disappear after a year or something?
Or am I missing something?
Thanks,
Crisp

Risking the forum Wolves ..........

Consider that many people sail around using such as OpenCPN with CM93 which is old as the hills and was superceded years ago ....
I have an old Lowrance that still plugs away on Nauticpath charts ..... never had a problem ...
I have another Plotter that uses KCharts (they do update but not often)
I have various android devices with the Navionics App on and with the subscribed charts.

That little lot covers my various boats needs and I do sail in some areas that need care - Swedish Archipelago as example.

I do have Commercial Charting as well - but that's another matter and not whats' topic here.

There is IMHO nothing wrong in practical terms with your idea.

Link to the eBay listing?

I mean, if you can get the charts you need for £54 then I'd deffo go for it, but I'd expect to pay at least £100 for 5-year-old secondhand ones.

From the description these cards seem to be the same as those that @st599 linked before - £220 from MarineSuperstore.

Am I correct in understanding that these are discounted because they'll receive no further updates? If so I will be ordering a set of the Med for myself.

That's what it looks like... I'd like to know why you can only get these on Ebay...... but certainly looks like a reasonable deal...
