This weekend we planned :-

a) launch my boat (Kelisha) at Upton Marina
b) put onto a pontoon
c) spend the afternoon at the jazz festival
d) drive to Newhaven to collect a mates boat
e) take boat to Walton on Thames to launch
f) drive back and collect my boat from Upton Marina

this is what happened

a) there was a boat moored on the pontoon at the bottom of the slipway so not enuf water to launch.
b) towed Kelisha to Seabourne at Kempsey - perfect slipway - boat in water - dead batteries - left aux battery switches on last weekend. /forums/images/icons/crazy.gif
c) borrowed booster from Peter (the new owner - what a nice guy) started first time and onto the pontoon.
d) phonecall from Mate saying "boat not ready to collect from Nevhaven as the work has not been completed and he just had a phone call - so trip on sunday Cancelled.

Just had lunch and now got to re plan the weekend .......................... still my boat is now in the river so ........... maybe just maybe .........

So whats unnormal about that. You got the boat in the water, then started pratting about with other things instead of just setting off and getting on with it. Anyway who's this new owner bloke, wheres he fit into all this??
