How many outboards do you need in your tender?

Not my experience of super yacht owners sometimes. The bigger and flashier the better for some of them.

It’s amazing how many women think a man who owns a superyacht is handsome

I feel that I need 200hp - minimum and preferably 2 stroke - on the back of my Avon readstart dinghy in order to cut through the anchorage at 45kts.

My fellow anchorage boaters seem to really appreciate it too going by the amount they wave at me.

The mothership was 64 metre “Atomic” owned by Dan Huish who’s apparently a very keen diver.

The yacht is predominantly white upper works over grey topsides. Crew uniform was white shirts and grey shorts to match the colour scheme of the yacht.

My level of boating, I call ‘old lady with boat hook’ boating...because on a busy summer’s day you watch all the boats coming in and out of port and they all have an old lady with a boat hook balancing precariously on the foredeck....but superyachting, if our old creaking necks allow our head to look up that high...are populated by beautiful creatures

Anybody with that many engines would be under close scrutiny of the customers and excise and the guardia civil here in Spain were such arrangement is associated with serious drug running either around Gibraltar or the rias

Controlling them just trying to go forward was already interesting ! Used just the middle for steering. Really wanted to get the 4th engine on but it was already rather dodgy to control.
