He's at it again - Steve Trewhella- Seahorses

I sympathise with concerns over the seabed.

But an anchor or 2 (or 20 or 100) is but nothing, and I mean nothing, compared to the damage a gravel dredger does to the bottom habitat. They are ruthless murderers ploughing the seabed. No-one seems to mind them............

Studland bay safety

Well Hello Ya All !!!
Guess what I live in Studland and have a mooring there ....I also have seen some underwater video camera images of the bay on youtube ..just punch in Studland Bay in the search and Bingo ..there they are and even a cine film from 1936... at all adds up to common sense ..the place hasn't changed for decades..everyones perfectly happy with the current situation ..seahorses,fishermen,sailors,small boat owners beach bums the lot..arr apart from two individuals who you all know.
So if the Status Quo is disturbed then there will be more harm done than good.... My main concern is Human life at sea will be put at risk if we are not allowed to shelter in Studland Bay ....That for me will be a crime against humanity ..and will certainly be a very brown stain on Conservation.
If you can talk to FINDING SANCTUARY and express you views on the suggested MCZ for Studland Bay and also have a look on the Marine Conservation Societys webpage ..and vote NO for their MCZ at Studland which is a total disgrace .
Always remember there isn't a sport/pastime more ECO-FRIENDLY than Sailing ...
We have a few weather eyes open on everyday events down here and thanks for all your support .
