I drink camomile for my stomachs sake and some times as an alternative to real tea last thing at night - I rather like it. However coffee and real tea doesnt disturb my sleep if i want to sleep - the suggestion is that caffeine also focusses the brain in telling the eyes to close and systems to shut down which is why cocoa and hot chocolate are also favoured night time drinks, though theobromine is not such a powerful stimulant as caffeinBit sad somehow, but i really like camomile. No perceptible effect on my sleeping patterns but then neither does coffee.
