Nope. It does absolutely nothing to the fuel.

Incidentally, the fighter-aircraft-on-russian-fuel claim is one of the most frequently repeated claims about these things. Odd, isn't it, that despite the alleged widespread use of them, no manual, no fitting instructions, no drawing, no specifications, no log books, no maintenance records and no personal memories have ever turned up to support the claim. It's almost as if it never happened.

Where were you in the 50 s and 60s when you could buy wee bags of silver pellets that you driopped in the petrol tank of your old banger......Seems it kept the Merlins running in Russia...:D:D:D

Been around for ages....Just like the magnetic filters for bugs etc.
