No, the flight had taken off from Heathrow and was somewhere on route to Istambul. But its not the Thames.

Talking of Stansted - we flew back in yesterday to Gatwick, but the plane's passenger Satnav display firmly labelled the destination airport as 'tansted' where it should have said 'atwick'.
Luckily we found we had landed at Gatwick (they never said!) as that's where our car was........

No the Moliette isn't just out of shot either - although that's closer.
The right hand dot is a yacht; the left hand is a curious port hand buoy.

Where could I be on the East Coast, close hauled on the port tack in the river channel when the wind direction is ESE.
