Oh, flipper, I had a play with the TP again today. Spending some tim fiddling with the sails helps, but it wasn't the best test conditions as I was trying to beat up the orwell and the bloody wind kept backing and veering through about 30 degrees, which made my tacks pretty much at right angles to the river bank. I was getting fed up of the wind against tide chop as well, so did a very uncorinthian thing and reach for the pull start once I was at pin mill.
I can see the pub from here. I'm contemplated weather to don the wetsuite and go for a swim, or inflate the kayak /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
