If so, what was the mystery small Fairline that they've been promoting?
Anything else of interest?

The new Fairline - 'mini X' is classified and only a few of us were allowed to see it behind the scenes. I was sworn to secrecy but I can tell you it was impressive, I just can't see how they put so much into a 31 footer and kept the lines, cabins and performance. Well done Fairline!![]()
I wanted to look at boats today but also discuss finals on my new to me boat, arriving in a few weeks. Nearly done now, almost a refit by Essex boatyards, really coming together now and so much done to bring this one back up to scratch as she had been some what neglected and left out to dry out in the Med sun.
It's a concept. If there is an interest, it may be built. Specs show it as around 30ft, single engine with possible hybrid options. I guess it is all subject to change depending upon the feedback received from the public and dealers.

Brilliant marketing strategy then. Build a concept boat to gauge public reaction and then hide it behind a curtain so the public can't see it![]()
Thanks Roger, what was behind the screens, was it just the display board with the artists impressions (as per the above) or an actual boat?
Sounds interesting. I hope you'll be starting a new thread with all the before and after pics?
A 30' outdrive boat. Brilliant, just what the market needs. The marketing dept must have worked overtime designing the curtain.
The weather kept us away today else we'd have been there.

Hiya, I was there today, all day, excellent.

Great show from the usuals like Fairline, Sunseeker and Princess. I don't know how they do it. Everytime, stunning boats, display and service. (especially in the hospitality areas, thank you muchly)
The Chris craft boats did look nice they do an excellent simile of the Rivas' at a sensible price. The little 'Topaz' sailing cats from Topper looked good as an entry for all and pretty much indestructible, really tuff!
Loads of nice extras, lights (some bloo) track-vision to admire, shiny stuff everywhere and some really nice ribs, value from Piranha and superb quality from X Ribs.

I always enjoy the shows and as always bumped into quite a few familiar faces, shame I couldn't make it on Thursday but I'm sure you will enjoy what's on offer. The show is not massive so you can get round in a day with little time pressure. The bars are known to slow one down so take care in these areas.
Nice day and a good place to be in this awful weather.:encouragement:

All set to go this morning, or so I thought. All excited etc etc saying to Chris...'Ok hon, shall we go?' His reply?...'Really don't fancy it today, just wanna chill tbh.' Now completely deflated so submersing myself in grumpy cleaning!
