Where would you look for a replacement aerial for a Cobra Marine MR HH400 EU handheld radio?

Surely I am not the first person to break theirs?

I'd be calling Cobra marina and asking them the question.

Tried that in search of a UK stockist but so far no luck.

There are lots of aerials available cheap on the internet. If the fitting is correct can I try a third party one?

I've always been responded to when I've asked a manufacture for details of where I can buy spares. On two occasions they have asked for a postal address and sent me the bits free of charge.

The thread is a bog std but cant remember its name one. Mine, the rubber cracked and fell apart. I ended up heat shrink wrappingthe coiled wire antenna

On the one I'm looking for the fitting on the antenna is female and the radio male.

Many are SMC coax connector, can be male or female though
