A caution about Mytillini - although the Port Police do not actively chase you to go and pay the Customs Officers will call you over as you are leaving to check you have paid, they will also phone the PP to check so it is probably not a good idea to think you can skip paying just because the PP have not asked you!!!
Moudhros on Limnos is a good big safe quay where you generally tie up alongside, fees are normal Port rates but it depends on the PP officer whether you get charged the extra for alongside and one PP officer reportedly charges midnight to midnight. You could also get in the "marina" part of the harbour, depths seem adequate for 2m draught certainly near the entrance pontoons. Administered by the PP so probably the same charges.
The N Sporades harbours all seem to be free of charge from our experience so far in Steni Vala, Patitiri, Skopelos and Loutraki.
