.....but the best I've seen is a Catamaran, here in Greece, whose owner has a Son called Nick and a Daughter called Helen, and he called the Boat 'Hellenic'.......Perfect.

I've alway wondered how rude one could be with a boat name before it was disallowed by the nav authority.

Presumably there is a list of prohibited words.

I think French would be okay like "Putain de Merde".

The rudest English boat name I have seen is " Up yaws'. Sealine.

I prefer something clever with meaning., that said my last boat was named after a Pokemon, only the kids at the pub knew what it was ! my current name is also a nod to the model of the boat.

I did see a small craft with an angler on it recently called "W anchors" but I think it was probably a trailer boat so not subject to the irritating requirement for yearly registration.
