4. Orange smoke pyro.
5. Red handheld pyro.
6. Portable VHF radio.
7. 4 x thermal aids.

He's posted what I believe to be a really very sensible brief on Liferafts, EPIRBs and GrabBags. Contains some real gems of practical safety. Stay with it - he's quite verbose!

If sailing or motoring away from UK, also waterproof bag with passports and as much as you think fit US dollars. Mebbe 250- 300.
