The Golden Hind 26 & 31 Moulds, Tooling, Jigs, Drawings, CE Documentation, Web Site and Associated Items are all for sale. Due to his imminent retirement, Golden Hind Marine’s proprietor, Mark Urry, is selling the moulds, building rights, and associated supporting hardware and documentation.

More info HERE

Hopefully someone will buy the moulds and carry on production.

We wish Mark luck in selling his gear. A friend bought the full set of molds for Farr 727 sport (very fast 24 ft keel boat) here in west oz recently for 150quid. Then only cos he had room and didn't want to see them lost. No body is building new boats it seems due to oil price/ resin costs it seems and the fact that old boats seem to last forever. will

The best resource for the Golden Hinds is: http://www.eventides.org.uk/goldpic.htm

They posted in 2012 that the last owner of the moulds Newsons Boatbuilders had gone into administration. No one knows where the Moulds are unless you know different.

Also as of January 2019 they have "...... most, if not all the drawings for the GH 31 in timber, available now , including a drawing for an optional wheelhouse, if anyone needs that.

The drawings of these boats are very elusive and Mark says they were lost. There are no drawings of the glass fibre versions.
