GlobalSat GPS Receiver BT-821C with OpenCPN

The receiver appears to be working ok, but OpenCPN seems to need tweaking before it will recognise the GPS data.

Any suggestions?

Data polarity?

Can you read the data using a 'terminal emulator' programme?

I have a few global sat USB GPS receivers, but haven't used one of their BT receivers.

Anyway, global sat has a little windows utility that connects to the receiver and displays data

maybe try that and see if the thing is working.
