GGR 22

Very interesting debrief by Simon from the GGR site posted on Youtube.

Fortunately Don lets Simon do the talking,

See Marine traffic are still reporting a pleasure craft target barely moving about 1400 miles SW of South Africa - wonder if it's Puffin.
For £0.99p you can get access to the satellite info for a day.

Very interesting, as said.

Picked up several good tips..... which is largely why I watch this material.
And Don should never ever be allowed near a camera or mic ever again.

Near the start - 1:40 ... I have the same removeable inner forestay not quite right frd - just aft of capstan - for hanked on storm jibs.

See the two handhold cutouts in his dodger first seen at 7:07? I have had that on the last few dodgers I've had made... thought it was my original idea. Excellent little bit of extra security getting in and out of the cockpit.

I notice he/they've advertised for someone to take up the Media role in the organisation.
Bit of a slow learner, yon Don.

It's finally all over. Jeremy Bagshaw arrives after 278 and a bit days at sea. The last weeks have been a tough beat and the winds teased him right to the end.

Well done, quite a feat of endurance!

Next up, the fully crewed version.
