I (used to) use Vueling air company (Iberia low cost), they are sending emails with offers to get the test in Spanish territory to their customers, maybe have a look at their web site even if not flying with them.
I've just looked at Martin Lewis' website and he states that Lateral flow tests would be OK before leaving Spain. If yes, that's great as they are available free from the UK government and you can take them with you.

Will that be acceptable? I think that when you take the test in Spain they will check who you are and assign the results to you. With an NHS kit there is no guarantee that you actually did the test!I've just looked at Martin Lewis' website and he states that Lateral flow tests would be OK before leaving Spain. Good grief, you finally post on a sailing forum but can’t resist having a dig at another European country and add nothing positive to the thread.........why so slow ? That is a mere third of the number with full protection in The UK.

Moving on...... It seems that the lateral flow test is indeed acceptable to travel back to the UK and that it is being offered at major airports. So book the test ( allow a bit more time at the airport) get a certificate on your app ( or hard copy version) and board your flight,
