Gas detector

Having read this myself I quite like the idea of the Dualwatch alarm as it combines a CO detector within the unit - the others seem to detect LPG & Butane only.

I fitted the RDM203 which came out well on the PBO test - cost me £34.

Just noticed they're flogging off ones with shop soiled packaging for £19.99 on eBay here

At that price there's no excuse for anyone not to have one!

I got one of these off eBay for £19.99. Very happy with the purchase. He is still selling them see item # 150055772159

On gas detectors.... are you concerned or not about them being intrinsically safe or flame proof. It seems that in all the PBO tests and bits I've read no one seems to bother too much about the fact that you are putting electronic/electrical gear into a potentially hazardous environment.
If there's an explosive gas mixture you've got a bomb with the ignition in situ.

just bought one from nuffield tools in poole it is a sealey one for £25 i have tried it at home seemed ok but have not fitted to the boat yet
