When I turned on my Garmin GPS 12 after the winter break it had lost its memory (something that is more
normal with me rather than high tech devices)

Anyway, I e-mailed the manufacturers who responded with good advise and said that if all failed
return it to them.

I sent it back and even though it was three years old they promptly returned a new unit.

NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

Nice isn't it!

I also have nothing but praise for their after sales service, they gave me a new GPS aerial after testing my 4 years old unit and not finding any fault with it ( no charge ) I know where my next unit will be coming from.

Strange isn't it. With all the manufacturers and agents in the industry we gravitate towards the one that believes in customer service. I believe totally in Garmin and have done for years. Just how do the others survive?
