After a bit of help . Pulling the dashboard board apart on a boat with twin Volvo A125Bs. There are four fuses in the dash. I took them out and they are a bit unsual. They seem to be fusistors. A very low resistance in series with a melting fuse in a 25mm glass fuse body.
The 40+ year old manuals don't even mention any fuses. Never seen such a thing before and I am not sure why they are there as I think a fuse is all that is needed.
Are these standard fit or has a previous owner fitted them?
