You may very well think so. However, Mr Elvstrom made the sail from Norah Batty's threadbare knickers, and the main halyard is attempting to pull the headboard through the sheave.
Its much better reefed,as even an Elvstrom sail can't stretch by 4 feet.

Just you wait until you see the new sails. You will need quality Sunglasses.
