Fuel Price Cowes

I agree....it’s €2.20 a liter for diesel at our marina....and they are usually the cheapest around

We normally have the use of one of our in-laws cars when we are in Netherlands but BiL is away on business and Sil needed hers so we have hired. The guy at Europcar recommended electric because of the fuel prices so we have a Citröen C3 Aircross. Despite being based on generic Stelantis bits, it has a lot of very Citröen character including rolling a lot. It ain’t fast but it did 6.8km/kWh on the 50km run we have done. I can see cheap things like this gaining sales

I’ve been putting white in from Costco 40 litres at a time and keeping the tanks less full for a while as it’s been close to road prices for a long time

Discount sales here today are about 1.80 euros / ltr. The forecourt stations range from 1.92 to 1.98 euro / ltr

5 days ago the discount sales was at 1.40 euro /ltr with forecourt at about 1.55 euro.

That's quite a jump compared to last week, they had a notice on their website saying due to high demand they had run out and expecting a refill last Thursday. Hence the higher price perhaps, it now seems cheaper to fill up at MDL at £1.45.

Just looking at the Cowes marine diesel price on the website and it says 60/40 is £1.29 a litre? Cannot see £1.71 anywhere???

Back in mid December is was £1.62 for 60/40 at Bucklers Hard so I dread to think what it might be now

Glad it is unlikely I will be using the Cowes facility in the near future as, per the OP, it’s becoming increasingly expensive and the opening hours aren’t great and sometimes they are even open then.
