Fuel filter prices

Could anyone tell me what the "right" price for a fuel filter is?

Just ordered one for my Lister HRW4, and paid £1.97 +VAT for it (for a genuine Lister Petter part). This strikes me as a ridiculously small amount and I wonder if its worth stocking up?

Don't know about Lister in particular, but although filters are not usualy expensive, that has to be the cheapest I've ever heard of (you sure they did not make a mistake there?- if so, buy 20 now! LOL).
Size does not seem to matter anyway (no jokes here please), as last time I bought filters I found my car one (still only about £5) dearer than the large one for my perkins 4108 - which cost about £4.
If I found ones for my Perky at the price you've paid, I'd buy half a dozen - after all, you can't ever have too many can you?
