No, this is not a wind up. The first four replies to my PM box will receive a free tee shirt in your size. Clearly I would need an address to send it to and your size.

Here are the rules:
1) You must have either taken a motor boat from the med to the UK by sea, or vise versa

2) You must have done at least a part of the whole passage by night (or a few hours of darkness).

3) It must be a motor boat (not a sail boat running on motor)

4) You do not have to be the owner, you could be the crew and the free shirt still applies.

5) Strictly 4 shirts. First replies, first dibs!

6) I will free post to the UK only.

OK, lets allay the fears of the mods and skeptics:

No, I am not using this as a commercial venture on this forum. 4 shirts free of any charge nothing else applies.

No, I will not be mailing anyone anything other than a shirt in their size. The PM will then be deleted.

Yes, it is boaty (just) and I am doing this for family reasons - I am helping my son out.

There are many on here that have known me for the 11 years that I have been on this forum. I am not a wind-up merchant.

My decision is final and you can be sure that I have a good idea, based on 11 years of membership, who the genuine qualifiers are!

The shirts are of a reasonable quality (not Fred Perry Quality) and are fine for "messin' about in boats".

On your marks, get set, GO!

Twas a genuine no catches offer and heralded the launch of my son's new screen printing business called "Soul Style" and is on www.soulstyle.co.uk

I was feeling generous this morning to my lad and to my friends on the forum :) Happy days and have a nice weekend.

I once took a very old and dodgy 7' ish inflatable with an old Evinrude (I think) outboard all the way from the South Coast round to Spain and then on to Marseilles. I'm guessing that in the boot of a Rover that was on the Bilbao ferry wasn't what you had in mind though...

brave lad ! A very competitive market. Worth trying to get corporate contracts or into festivals, arts displays, teams, etc, but the margins are narrow.

best of luck to him.

1,Gosport to Cyprus,and return.

3,I wasn't the owner, just crew, although the owner is a VIP.
