The foxhound was one in a series of boats( Foxcub 18, Fox Terrier 22 & Foxhound 24 Also the Harrier 18 ?) designed by Uffa Fox.
I think most were built by Copland Boats on the Isle of Wight.
My only experience was on a Fox Terrier owned by a friend. My first experiences of cruising & the reason I first sought RYA Qualifications.
This was a superb little boat which performed like a round the cans racer but couls survive a serious blow. We used to sail cross channel, from Christchurch to Cherbourg & Alderney & once sailed from Plymouth to Roscoff, along th coast to Camaret, & returned via the Channel Islands to Christchurch.
I looked at one of these several years back, they reputably had reasonable sailing performance and a fair reputation as a "club racer". I was told they had varied interiors as many were home finished, the one I saw seemed to bear this out.
