Saw the tail-end of a wildlife programme last night about Florida- there was a bit about releasing turtles which featured what looked like a microlight strapped to an inflatable dinghy- what larks! I want one!

Yes I saw it too. Based on a RIB rather than a floppy bottomed inflatable. A sort of microflyingboat. Almost like something out of a James Bond movie.

There's one that flies about in the summer in Sweden and the Aland islands. I saw it for the first time in 2000 and began to wonder what was in the beer of the night before.
