ah but you do have a raw water filter. Two, i wd think. His might be just one in number, though, and screw-on type. If it's loose, it leaks, and if it leaks, the boat sinks.

Yes I know that but rumtigr and B1 both sed raw water filler cap. So I wanna know what one of those is, in case mine works loose and the boat sinks

Must of had hell of a leak in your 33footer if you just popped ashore at Swanage ,didn't notice any settling then but on return you did !! water up to the engines????BTW what sort of boat DO you have??? I smell vermin!!

I can't see anywhere it says 'filler' cap either from me or rumtigger.
You wouldnt be stirring it up and trying to make relations more 'strained' would you?

rumtigger, I'm getting puzzled, your profile mislead me but is the Mariah the boat you used to have or the one you are going to have? Which boat is the 33' one?

Can't see you noticing the pump outflow on a 33-footer while underway though, not unless you have the mother of all pumps!

Ah!

Of course there will be a much longer list of kit that mightn't have been fitted due to miserlyness/incompetance/amnesia on the part of the builder - the list will be much longer than the Mariah so you'd best go through the specification/invoice and then through the boat to make sure nothing else has been missed off!

Hope this helps - bit more chance now we all know what boat we are talking about....
