Anyone had experience of using this material? Looking to use it on the interior of my boat to hide the wooden ribs on the inside of the hull. Is it the most suitble and are there any alternatives to suggest?
Thanks
Flexiply is very usefull but unless you have an extreme curve 4mm ply will do.
If you do go for flexiply dont forget to specify the way you want it to flex as it only goes one way.
It is grand stuff for quickly building up laminated structures without the need for particularly accurate formers. Very popular with boatbuilders for creating those rounded / drum like interior features. You can build multiple curves in a manner that would be otherwise very expensive and time consuming. It is expensive however and if you can get away with thin ply, all the better.
Absolutely true. I know several people who thought they could use it to get compound curves. There is NO material that will bend both ways at once! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
