Flat Fenders

Have I missed something in my last ten years of sailing but is there an adapter to allow you to blow up fenders?

Maybe they are always just sold out when I approach the chandlers.

It quite often comes with new fenders, 1 option is to buy a new one the same kind as you have and then keep the valve .

A football adapter will do it in most cases.

Not the deflated round ones, the intentionally flat ones made out of slabs of foam.

They look as though they might take up less locker space and be less prone to rolling or jumping out under load.

I think they are; a friend, who races, has them and they are lighter, easier to store and don't swing around as much in the wind (causing the 'burns' that circular fenders do)

They are going on my xmas list - but I will still keep some round ones to protect me from my neighbour /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
