Fitting a PV panel to goal post?

I am planning to fit it a solar panel to to goalposts. I have worked out all the parts except for from the panel itself to the clamp on the crossbar.
If the panel is horizontal then the fixing holes are on the vertical lip around it. Therefore I need a bar that the clamps fix to, which goes across to the lip and turns vertical to line up with the fixing holes. I'm leaning towards aluminium but would it be strong enough? Should it be box section; but then how do I turn it vertical at the ends?

How have others done it?

I have a 120w panel on my goal posts.

I fitted some 2x1 hardwood into the aluminium channels along the long edges of the panel. Then screwed 3 pieces of 3x1 accross the underside of the panel fixed through the aluminium lip into the longer pieces. Then I cut some stainless strips and bent these to make saddles to go around the horizontal rail and fixed these to the 3x2.

All this was done on a temporary basis about 4 years ago and it's perfect since.

I can swivel the panel to suit the sun or to clean the surface and to get at the connections etc.

That all sounds a bit complicated
I just bought 2 off 25mm stainless pipe saddle clamps. These are fixed through two holes drilled in the return edge at each end of the SP. They provide enough strength and sufficient friction to mount and allow angular adjustment of my 100w panels.
