According to Welsh news last night, go-ahead has been given to a new 500 berth marina at Fishguard.

It's a scenic part of the coast which doesn't have many stopping points for yotties so should make life easier around there. It's a long way from any centre of population though. I hope it can get enough business.

Please tell me this is not going to be sited in the lower harbour, it is beautiful. I hope they do not ruin a quiet anchorage and moorings with another ugly marina!

They didn't say, but I doubt it, there's not room. I expect it will be to the North or South of the central breakwater.
