I've had conflicting advice on the strength of solution required. Initially it was 2oz per pint of warm water but then a chemist type on here explained it was a saturated solution (or summut!) and you could just keep adding the acid crystals for as long as they dissolved. So..............if only a lightish clean is needed, I stick with the 2oz/pint. If its all a bit grimey and I want to restore the colour of the teak, I probably double that. The comparison with Wessex was made using the stronger solution. If you look at most of the proprietary cleaners priced at £6/8/10/12 for a smallish bottle in the chandlers, the active ingredient is usually oxalic. But I only paid £10 for a 5 kilo tin which has lasted years and still some to go. As with all the cleaners, you need to ensure you wash the run-off on the gelcoat/paintwork thoroughly
