100% correct according to my my tame marine engineer. pity he is in wales....

rafiki yep done the obvious stuff, bought a plug tester, sits between lead and plug and has a wee bulb in it, didn't test it on a known good spark first though D'oh. Dizzy is spinning OK, cap and rotor arm have seen better days and will be replaced but I don't think that's what it is...

What outdrive is it? Alphas have a shift interupt switch, Bravos don´t. They are a common thing to fail and if they do go wrong, will kill the spark.

Oh deary me....sorry to hear about your woes Nick, still all sorted now and hopefully the Summer will soon be with us.
I'm helping Antifoul this weekend then in a few weeks ours is being lifted at Port Medway for the same plus an insurance survey....only a quickie though over four days...practice my speed antifouling this weekend.

Could be me being pedantic.... but these statements would mean that you'd have some fuel issues to resolve....

I meant did I fill the jerry cans with diesel at the pump on the way down to the boat, answer was no I didn't...
