Thought I would share with you a great evenings fun on Sat night. Myself two pals and four kids took a notion at 9.30pm to go out and watch Portstewarts firework display from the boat. It was flat calm. there was a 5 mile journey from the marina to Portstewart. we arrived 15 minutes before the display began, a time which was spent jumping in the water and having the odd bevey. When the display ended we met a few pals in Portstewart harbour where we sat to after midnight. we then traveled the 5 miles home in pitch black. It was a first for me to travel down the river Bann depending totally on lights, Gps and radar. Now I know how easy it is I will be doing it again.
Sorry to bore you all but It will be an unplanned trip which I will always remember.
