20 years ago, we had a Mariner 3 or 3.5 or similar, the only outboard we ever bought new.
Damned thing was often very difficult to start, took it back to the dealer and they fiddled with it, made no difference.
I wonder if Aspen would have helped, but nobody suggested it at the time.
I wasn't that upset when it got stolen.
