Hi all,

Not been on here for a while but now in the market for a different boat and looking at westerly Griffons. Need something which is capable of Channel / North sea passages, nice to sail ( previous boat was a first 211) with enough accommodation for a family of 4 ( which the first didn't do very well !) Has anyone out there had experience of the sailing qualities of the fin over the twin keel and their capabilities.

Any thoughts welcome, Many thanks

Jeff

Hi

Crewed on one from Brightlingsea to Medway in F5/6 and was amazed at tenacity and holding power on the twin keels, which are angled perfectly to hold course. Very little leeway and so a very effective sailing yacht for A to B challenges.

They are an up-dated Centaur with a more modern look and a better internal layout IMO. As someone has said there's a review in this months YM which seems pretty complimentary. I don't know if you get a ukelele included!
