IM looking for a answer to my epoxy problem. I used the pour on epoxy and had to drill 6 small 1/8 inch holes. The epoxy "lifted" off the painted wood leaving what looks like white between the two surfaces. I have tried several ways of doing it with no luck. There must be a trick someone knows, of how to get the epoxy to stay adhered to the paint under it. It has kicked my butt...…

Agree with the above. As for getting it into holes, I find a syringe works well. you can buy them cheaply from ebay

ok..true confession.
I am using epoxy over cribbage board then drilling 240 holes. I hate seeing it lift and destroying the board after drilling the holes.
I have tried drilling before epoxy and it just makes a mess. I have even tried before and after...doesn't work.

It could make a difference what the paint is, as in oil paint, 2 pack, water based etc. 2 pack painted over oil based tends to dissolve the paint underneath, just wondering if you may have a similar issue ?
