I have at last sorted the golden-coloured stainless flooring to arrive in jan, and the plated rocker covers arrive before christmas. To keep things restrained, i have settled for chrome rocker covers cos i think gold wd look a bit over the top. I wonder if anyone can point me towards more useless engineroom "upgrades"?

There is a company (cannot remember their name) that make custom engine hoses in vivid colours (eg. red/blue/yellow etc) maybe they could do 1 to match your engine colour? or complement it?

Oi I've got them on my Range Rover. They're silicon anyway. Coloured braided hoses alway look pointless and naff.

Well, all the cabling should light up, like all the best custom made computers do now

Practical too, then can all be colour coded <sigh>

In the best "Max Power" spirit howabout lifting the engines out and installing some tasteful blue neons underneath/around them to give a lovely glow?!

"me towards more useless engineroom "upgrades"? "

do you mean further useless upgrades or upgrades that have an even greater level of uselessness?

I meant additional upgrades which are useless. I suppose the sentence was ambiguous and could have meant that the engineroom is useless as in "more useless crew"....
