Reading a pre xmas issue of PBO and interested in article about benefit of insulating the heating ductwork- article mentioned insulation from company called keto but didn't give their contact details- anyone know where they can be found or other suppliers of wraparound insulation for the hot air ducting?

Paul,

The Keto insulation is good but pretty expensive. I used hotwater tank lagging from B&Q. It is fire resistant comes in strips & I simply wrapped it round the ducting using large cable fastners. Total cost of my insulation was about £30. Only downside is its red rather than black!

Cheers,

Robert.

thanks for that - I have requested the keto brochure so will read it with interest when it arrives and then decide- thanks for the tip re hot water tank insulation-happy for it to be red or for that matter any colour as out of sight and if it works well and is cheaper, great,

Paul
