I have a d3l. I am getting error code F33. The manual states-
F33
"Motor speed varies from specification by more than 10% for longer than 30 seconds. If too slow, check for restriction, and check for short in motor circuit or control unit. If none found, replace blower. If too fast, check for damage to magnetic sensor control on control unit. Replace blower motor if damaged. Replace control unit otherwise."
This seems to fit as the motor speed does seem to vary!
It has had a recent full service.
There are no restrictions to motor or any of the pipes.
Not sure what it means by check for shorts but.... There is no continuity (short)on the motor pins on the ecu. There is continuity (short) on the wires leading to the motor. Is this the problem is the motor had it?
I can keep restarting it and it seems to run ok after the third attempt or so. The motor then runs ok and at a consistent speed.
I am unsure what the magnetic sensor control on control unit is or how to test it? Is this the ecu?
When it refers to control unit is this the ecu?
Thanks for your help
Jim
