No shame in that You motor boat types are the nearest to proper sport that we get. And you have such lovely flat sides, just like us, for rafting on.

Thanks JFM, I use an Insta 360 X3 cam, for these video's it was mounted on a 1.2m pole attached with a smallrig clamp onto the hand rail. Really easy to edit on a smartphone too.

Nice. But videos should be landscape not portrait!

My only word of caution is they aren't as waterproof as advertised and the lens protectors (pretty necessary) do give some stitching issues. But for everyday "short videos" they are a very good camera, spend a bit of time learning the software and you can get some pretty cool effects, those videos only took around 3-5 mins of editing each.

We had a little sail today and saw this little beastie off Newtown Creek. F6 north easterly, I’ll be honest, as a dedicated raggie I was slightly jealous. Very hard work on a 30 ft tri today.

That’s Hard8, a very nice 2021 Sanlorenzo sx88 based in Lymington. The only big Sanlorenzo based in uk. Was exhibited at SIBS 2021. Owned by two uk Co-owners, and charterable.

That sounds right. We were returning frim Gins, the royal Southampton, to Yarmouth. She crossed astern of us in the general direction of Lymington, doing 10-12kn. We were exhausted by the hard beat up Solent to Gins earlier, and were returning under jib alone at about 9kn. All well til we got to Yarmouth, most of hell let loose in the offing there, we had a job to fold safely to enter the harbour. Nice looking boat, I don’t take pictures of every motor boat we meet.
