I saw a pod swimming up The Solent just outside Newtown Creek on Friday evening around 8.30pm. Only the second time I have seen them in The Solent. Wonderful sight.

Dolphins near Bardsey Sound last week, whale off Codling Bank plus saw porpoises while anchored off Dun Laoghaire. Uplifting stuff and worth 8 hours of motoring to see!

Had two perform next to me in the Looe channel last week for about 20 minutes - very playful. Couple in Lyme Bay and a large pod off Brixham. I have now seen more dolphins in one trip than the last 20 years!

Had a pod last week for about 20 miles crossing Lyme Bay under motor - BORING! Lifted everyone's mood as they played the bow wave. One particularly appeared to be watching us, on the Bow videoing with phones.
