Re: Does my flag offend you?

As it seems to have replaced the mandatory Ensign the answer is yes.
But if it's only a House Flag then no probs.
Pity it's not legible to us viewers tho. . .

Re: Does my flag offend you?

In my area this is the universally accepted "warning: kids on board" signal. Very interesting if mooring alongside, if you have kids too, or to avoid if you are with a bunch of friends , beers and plans for an all nighter.

Yes,cheap, tacky& nasty spring to mind, i can't see the correct flag(which is a red ensign if you did not know),don't blame me you did ask, regards mm1.

For your info i always get out on the starboard side which is where the ensign should be!! /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmm; I see that your daughter (?presumably?) has, like mine, succumbed to the expensive pestilence that is Jack Wills clothing.

Now there's a bunch of pirates if ever there was..... /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

You are so right. I think she is just beginning to question whether the label stuff is really worthwhile. I just wish I could dream up some brand of clothing that is the same as everything else but becomes the must-have.

Blackfeather t-shirts anyone?

In fairness, their stuff is good quality and British made, which partly accounts for the price, and their shops are beautifully fitted out, which must cost a bit, but their pricing is indubitably premium /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif.

The final marketing edge - so I am told both by my daughter and my wife - is the use of "fit hottie blokes" as sales assistants.

I'm off to talk to Primark /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif.
