Distance from your boat? (no liveaboards, please)

Too far when the tool I need is at home!

Or far too far if I ever forget the boat keys!

Quickest is 2 hours 10 min
Longest is just over 3 hours

Shortest distance through central London is 104 miles
Route round M25 (Normally quickest) 140 miles

I live East London, boat in Portsmouth Harbour

90 miles - 2 hours up the side of loch lomond then through Glen Coe - a pleasure in itself sometimes (unless there are too many caravans on north bit loch lomond road)

Five or six mins walk down to the boatyard or two mins in car, then five mins in dinghy.

I love where we live - wouldn't change it for anything. Tobermory is a bit busy for me /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif It's all motorway - live by the M25, then A12 and I'm there.

Average speed cameras don't work /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Living proof.

75 miles, give or take, Central London to Southampton. I let the train take the strain, though. About 1 hour and 20 on the quickest train from Waterloo and about 10 mins taxi at each end (as I get older, I can't bear the bit where you queue in the car to get from the centre of town to the M3 or A3).
