Distance from your boat? (no liveaboards, please)

According to Google Maps about 870 miles. Usually 5 hours door to boat (Mallorca)

My yacht maybe further away, but I bet I get nicer weather than most. How many days a year on the water? About 40

Just over an hour. I live in Teddington, outside London but handy for the M3. The boat is in Southampton. My friends slate me for being out in the sticks as they see it but on Sunday night when the traffic backs up on the A316, I am sat on my sofa with a cold beer whilst they plug on up to Fulham or whereever it is they think I 'should' live.

Depends which one you're talking about.

1. 80 miles; 3 hours inc train and ferry, but I can work via laptop on the journey, so only about 30 minutes downtime

2. 1,500 miles - 13 hours if I'm lucky, up to 24 hours if I'm not.

I get to spend 60-80 days on each one every year /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

62 miles, approx 1hr 45mins - lovely drive from west London via Chiddingfold & Petworth but too far - which is why we're moving to Chichester /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

About 8 miles.

Beyond the brown hills in the distance.

70km or about an hour, so long as I don't try it during the rushours around Delft, Rotterdam and Dordrecht.

Couldn't get into/afford the one 3 miles and a tram ride away.
