Hi Hank what reason are you putting on the French travel forms? I can’t see a transit only option!

Even though the Greek government is opening the borders the carriers of course have commercial decisions to make unfortunately. Hopefully for you there's a ton of people wanting to travel too! Just not to Crete though. Please? ?We will now have to wait for confirmation from MinoanGreece Opens All Airports, Border Points to Tourists on July 1 | GreekReporter.com
Hi Alex try this linkQuestion: can I sail from Croatia to Greece now or on 1st of July? Are there any restrictions or special rules? Where can I get official information? Thanks
thanks!

1st July. Until then ships from abroad are prohibited from entering Greek waters (though to my certain knowledge there have been some exceptions). If you do arrive before 1st July expect to be quarantined for at least 7 days - hardly worth it to gain an extra 9 free days here?Question: can I sail from Croatia to Greece now or on 1st of July? At the moment, sort of! France has reciprocal quarantine for 14 days arriving from the UK but it’s ‘voluntary’. Our route was going to be France, Switzerland, Italy so don’t know about Germany and Austria but no passenger Ferries Italy to Greece until the 1st July. There's do much disinformation about ,so I ask the question.
Can we drive through France .Germany, Austria ,Italy. Without doing any quarantine.?

The odd couple of time before our pets pass away we just had them in the kennels , once on the move we took them up in the seating area , no one ever bother us . Let's face it They was less of a problem then all the trucker spread across many seats to sleep .You can transit these countries and it should be done without any problems. There may be some paperwork to pre -fill in, like France, but these rules keep changing.
We have just receive notice from Minoan that our sailing has been cancelled and have to book for the next available sailing by email.
There are no dog cabins until at least the 18th July and a small chance of a kennel, so god knows when we will get back to Greece.
It's been a complete shambles with different rules for different state countries. Not what one expects from the EU's unification.
Still too complicated for my tired, old brain! What isn't complicated is the UK Government's advice against all travel other than essential and the implications for my travel insurance if I were to travel ie I wouldn't have anyThere's do much disinformation about ,so I ask the question.

I think Turkey is the issue there. The current stand-off over Turkey's proposal to drill in Greece's continental shelf off south-east Crete is quite possibly behind that.Today the coastguard did not allow a large motor yacht to arrive from turkey and go to an athens shipyard although they had agreed prior

,Self employed engineer - going out to work on a boat. Although I believe that the travel restrictions in France have been lifted.
However -after the Greek government announced that the ferry ports would open for international tourists on 1st July I booked a ferry with Anek from Ancona to Igoumenitsa departing 30/06/20 and arriving on 1st July - when the restrictions should lift.
I received a notification from Anek to the effect that I could not travel on 30/06/20 and that I should contact them on 1st July for an update on the situation - I am beyond bemused.
,
We are now re booked for the 8th July with Minoan, which is Ancona instead of Venice. To get this which is the first available booking, we've had to upgrade to a junior suite at a massive FO extra premium of €149 and this can only be made as a provisional booking. I way beyond bemused, I'm absolutely seething.
