Looking for some advice on an idea I am thinking of persuing.
I have a crownline 242 and have the camper cover on it pretty much all the time. The cover leaks like hell and no matter what I do always end up with water coming in.
So I thought how about converting it to have an enclosed hardtop. To kind get a simular design to the Fairline Targa or Jeanneau Prestige.
What are the thoughts and comments on that? Is there a reason why there are not many 24' hard top cruisers? Obviously extra weight is going to come into factor.
Do I have an idea here or am I heading for the winner of the ugly boat competition?
