Even on the "new" one - a wheel with ST4k wheel pilot we hardly ever use it ... too many helms onboard! 
Really do need to sort it out as it's not quite set up right atm... which doesn't help.
Would love to have a quandrant fitted AP ... can't quite justify the additional cost atm!

Not a yacht but many many moons ago when I was a poor midshipman the RN converted all their 25 foot motor cutters from tiller to wheel. It was a smple drum and wire system and retained the original transom hung rudder and tiller.
